Galactivism

The 2021 whitepaper built giving back into the token: stake KDU and a share goes to animal sanctuaries.

That idea is coming home to FlashTown, the rescue farm and sanctuary on Kīlauea that looks after about 25 rescue cats and 5 rescue dogs. Sanctuary staking is in development and not live yet.

What is Kudoken?

Kudoken (KDU) is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, deployed on May 6, 2021 by Jessie Sponberg and Gabriel Rogers. It is the unofficial token of galactivism and the shared currency for Jessie's projects.

How do I buy KDU?

Use any Buy KDU button. It opens Uniswap with the real contract already selected. Connect an Ethereum wallet, choose how much ETH to swap and confirm. There is one pool, so check the price impact Uniswap shows before you confirm.

Why is so much in one wallet?

92.8% of all KDU (928,063,063) is the founders' long-term cold storage. It went in on October 21, 2021 and has not moved since. You can check it yourself on Etherscan.

Can anyone make or destroy KDU?

No. The verified contract has no mint and no burn function, no transfer tax and no admin controls.

What is the move to Base?

A plan, in development, to bridge KDU to Base so everyday payments cost a fraction of a cent. It uses the official Base bridge, so KDU on Base is always matched by KDU locked on Ethereum and the total supply stays the same. It is not live yet.

Is the wallet demo real money?

No. It runs on Base Sepolia, a test network, with test tokens that have no value.
